Theatrical Endeavors

I began my theatrical “career” working as Kirk Wood Bromley’s dramaturg, later co-founding Inverse Theater with this spectacularly talented New York playwright. I then took on the position of Development Director at the New Globe Theater, a large-scale arts center designed by Lord Norman Foster and proposed for Governor’s Island across from the Statue of Liberty.

For years, I ran ActorTips.com, which was the world’s largest newsletter for actors. I shared advice with more than 250,000 aspiring actors around the world before selling the franchise to Manhattan’s Drama Book Shop in 2009.

I also co-wrote Gilgamesh, a drama based on the Sumerian epic, with Pulitzer-Prize winning author Yusef Komunyakaa. I remain involved with all of these people and projects, and hope to continue collaborating with inspired artists for many years, bringing powerful and poetic plays to life.
